Army Recruitment in Louisiana--10,000!! JOIN US!!

Since the beginning of the year, along with others in the prayer network, we have been hearing the Lord speak military terminology to us such as recruit, muster, marshall, MIA, POW, order, alignment, etc. In fact, as we spoke recently at a church here in Louisiana, we felt the Lord prompt us that we were there for "Army Recruitment." We told this congregation that the Lord wanted none of them "missing in action"--He wanted them fully engaged in this intercessory battle--and that there were to be NO "prisoners of war."

You may recall that in January we came alongside Tom Schlueter and the Texas Apostolic Prayer Network to launch El Camino de los Tejas. At that initial meeting the Lord spoke to us that it was time to "cross the line" (as the story goes at the Alamo) and to take a stand for the Kingdom. Then while we were traveling across South Louisiana for Exposing the Darkness-Advancing the Glory, an intercessor from Lafayette handed us a book, A Time to Stand, The Epic of the Alamo. We quickly read this book feeling it was very timely. Sure enough, there were amazing quotes from groups in Louisiana in 1835 committing themselves to stand alongside their Texas brethren for the battle for liberty: "In Natchitoches crowds packed the Red River Exchange the night Houston's message appeared . . . they passed a resolution to send the Texans 'all possible assistance in their struggle for liberty.'" "As the citizens' resolution at Natchitoches, Louisiana, so fervently put it, the Texans were "bone of our bone and flesh of our flesh."

It's amazing how the Lord will connect you with something historical to uncover His strategic battle plan in the spiritual realm. These are "covenant words" and the Lord is reminding us again that we must stand together across geographical boundaries to see victory in our nation. Texas is a prophet state and the outcome of their warfare and battle in the spirit affects the rest of the nation just as it did in the natural 175 years ago. (This year is 175th anniversary of TX independence.) Texas is teaching us some things about warfare! We're watching as well as standing with them!! Check out their website: www.txapn.org.

We have received a prophetic injunction through Chuck Pierce that we need 10,000 intercessors praying together for the State of Louisiana. Please forward the LAPN emails to others and ask them to sign up on our website: www.prayerfocusministries.com. Help us recruit the army in Louisiana! We're declaring that the Lord is "marshaling the troops" throughout our state. The kingdom of darkness will crumble and fall as we move together as the Lord's army!

Prayer for Government

If you haven't already done so, we want to encourage you to connect at some level with IFL (Intercessors for Louisiana) directed by Todd Trahan. With the upcoming opening of the Louisiana legislative session (March 20th), they will seek to keep you informed about governmental prayer needs. On the IFL website there is a place to "Adopt a Leader." 1 Tim 2:1-2 instructs us that we are to pray and to make intercession for those in authority. One of IFL's goals is to identify intercessors for every State Representative and State Senator through this program. Also intercessors meet at the State Capitol on the second Tuesday of every month. www.pray4govt.org Another excellent network and source for governmental information is the Louisiana Family Forum directed by Gene Mills. www.lafamilyforum.org. As far as our knowledge, until the '90's there was no effective communication regarding governmental updates and prayer needs. By the time we received word (usually by media), we were after the fact in terms of prayer. That has changed! We should be grateful for these ministries in Louisiana!

Post Mardi Gras Prayer

We are aware that many of you are doing this, but in the aftermath of the recent Mardi Gras celebrations, join with us in declaring that all doors to revelry and debauchery are closed in our state and declare anew and afresh that Louisiana's covenant is with our one and only King --King Jesus, who is our King, Lawgiver, and Judge. (Is. 33:22) Yesterday in Natchitoches we joined with other believers driving and praying over the parade route "backwards." We began where it stopped and ended where it started. The Lord told us to break the curse and negate any covenants that had been made knowingly or unknowingly. One of the team members lifted a cry of repentance to the Lord for the church failing to watch and steward thus giving legal access to the enemy for these celebrations that exalt other gods. This is an area of darkness that needs exposure as many in the church of Louisiana participate thinking it's a harmless parade and celebration.

We just wanted to say that God showed up powerfully throughout our eight day journey across South Louisiana to expose the darkness that has held God's people in captivity. Mildred Bean did a wonderful job of presenting the truth and leading us to shift the atmosphere and free the harvest through strong executions of judgment against the enemy based on Ps. 149:6-9 and Is. 47. We want to express thanks to all of those who hosted us at the various locations--this would not have been impossible without you! This was another assignment to continue to break the Baal structure that has warred against the advance of God's Kingdom in Louisiana. Please read the report and look at the pictures that show the signs in the heavens that the Lord gave to confirm that He has released His sword against this system. Now we stand calling forth the harvest!
