Dear Friends of Prayer Focus Ministries,

Roger and CharlotteWhat a year this has been for us! We realized that we had not written a formal report since we facilitated the prayer initiative with the French Huguenot descendants at the end of May. Has it really been five months? And here we are at the end of October, on the precipice of a crucial national election and at one of the most critical junctures in our history. Cindy Jacobs said, "It doesn't take a prophet to recognize that we are in dire straits on many levels here in the United States. Our foundations are crumbling and only intervention from God Himself can reverse the damage to the nation." We must not only pray but we must act! We encourage you to pray but also to vote on November 2nd! (For Louisiana voters, you can see a Voter Guide at www.lafamilyforum.org)

Here is an update on our recent ministry activities (apologies for the length):

After completing our time with the French (that report is on our website under "E-Newsletters" To view click here and click on June 12), we began to focus on preparations for a major Louisiana conference on the LSU Campus with Chuck Pierce and Barbara Wentroble. Teaming together with Louisiana Aglow, we prepared for and facilitated this conference, which was a breakthrough event with many timely prophetic words for our state. It was at this conference that our dear friend and ministry partner, Diane Buker, suffered a stroke and then five days later went home to be with the Lord. Her last prophetic word was delivered in Louisiana. As head of the ministry of the Battle Axe Brigade, Diane ran her race well and left us a great legacy - now multitudes have taken up this anointing to be His "battleaxes and weapons of war!" (Jeremiah 50:20-21)

While preparing for the LSU conference, we represented Louisiana at a solemn assembly in Montgomery, Alabama on June 30th called by the Reformation Prayer Network (Mike & Cindy Jacobs) and Mark Hawkins of Pray Alabama in regard to the Gulf oil spill. One of the primary areas of repentance was in regard to our nation's treatment of Israel. During Louisiana's time of repentance, Cindy Jacobs prophesied to us that we needed to call New Orleans to repentance within the next 30 days. So 15 days later we facilitated another solemn assembly that was hosted by Apostle Willie Wooten and Gideon Fellowship in New Orleans. Thankfully, a number of things were averted that had been prophesied over our region and nation.

In August we participated in a Louisiana Apostolic Roundtable gathering, firstfruits gathering at Glory of Zion with an 80th birthday celebration for Dr. C. Peter Wagner, and the Mississippi Burning Conference in Jackson, Mississippi with state leaders, Billy Joe & Ruthie Young.

In September Charlotte was off to Sacramento, California to represent Louisiana along with four other Louisiana leaders at The Call (Lou Engle), a nationwide solemn assembly where we "altared" our hearts, our state and our flag with two days of worship and repentance on the grounds of the Sacramento State Capitol. Three days after Charlotte returned from Sacramento we traveled to Denton, TX to be a part of the Head of The Year meeting with Chuck Pierce and other state leaders and then ministered that Sunday at Prince of Peace Church in Arlington while in the North Texas area. The week of September 13-18 we launched into a week-long emphasis in our state to divorce the spirit of Baal (LA was the 33rd state to do this) and re-marry and re-covenant with the Lord. We facilitated meetings with Dr. John Benefiel, director of the Heartland Apostolic Prayer Network, Oklahoma City, in three major areas of our state (Natchitoches, Baton Rouge, & New Orleans). We ended the week with a two-day conference on Freemasonry, "Tearing Down the Strongman", taught and facilitated by Bill Sudduth of Ram Ministries. You can view Dr. Benefiel's teaching on Baal on the Heartland Apostolic Prayer Network website. (www.hapn.us)

We began this month by participating in the Global Advance Ambassadors Summit and Partner Dinner in Dallas, Texas on October 7th & 8th. We were also honored to be a part of the commissioning of Jonathan Shibley as the new President and CEO of Global Advance. On October 22nd & 23rd we joined forces with Texas Apostolic Prayer Network leadership to carry out a prayer initiative in the Houston area. This month we have also been focusing on a major prayer initiative across our state and nation linked with the Masonic structure - divorcing the spirit behind it and building an altar of worship to Jesus Christ who is our only Master. This has been major, but with the help of other teams in our state, it will be completed by the deadline of October 31st - before the elections.

Charlotte will be going with our daughter, Sherry, the second week of November for her first routine checkup at M.D. Anderson since her surgeries and the battle with cancer last year. Please believe with us for a good report and for her to continue to be "cancer free."

Over the next few weeks, we will hopefully be catching up on office work after a "whirlwind year", networking prayer for Global Advance, representing Louisiana in a major national meeting with the HAPN & RPN the first week of December in Oklahoma City, and ministering in whatever capacity the Lord presents.

As Chuck Pierce says to those aligned with him, "Your praying and giving keep us Moving." Thanks to all of you who faithfully partner with us both prayerfully and financially to advance His Kingdom in our state, nation, and the nations.

Every Blessing,

Roger and Charlotte

We like to keep you abreast of our ministry alignments: It is a privilege to continue serving as intercessors and prayer coordinators for Dr. & Mrs. David Shibley, their son Jonathan who is the new President, and the ministry of Global Advance, Rockwall, Texas. Global Advance focuses on three specific keys to change nations - equipping frontline shepherds, marketplace leaders, and women leaders for fulfilling the Great Commission. We are grateful for our alignment with Dr. Chuck Pierce who is President of Glory of Zion International Ministries in Denton, Texas and Global Spheres, Inc., an apostolic ministry for apostolic, prophetic and intercessory leaders. We oversee the Louisiana Apostolic Prayer Network and are also affiliated with the Heartland Apostolic Prayer Network (HAPN) under the leadership of Dr. John Benefiel of Oklahoma City. We are joined through relationships with leaders in 49 other states and united through a call to bring healing to the land that will result in transformation of our communities, cities, and states. We also give oversight in Louisiana to the Reformation Prayer Network directed by Dr. Cindy Jacobs. All of these alignments overlap with the purpose of seeing the Kingdom of God advance in our nation and the nations.
