Breaking Lack - The Flaming Sword
New Orleans, Gideon Fellowship
In obedience to the prophetic word we received concerning walking our state in apostolic authority and "breaking the spirit of lack" with the "flaming sword", we met with intercessors and church leaders from the New Orleans area at Gideon Christian Fellowship on Saturday, August 15th. Some of the prayer team from South Central Louisiana joined us as well. What a powerful gathering!
The Gideon worship team was practicing in the sanctuary that morning while we were meeting under them in the fellowship hall. We were covered the entire time with praise and worship! After we corporately broke lack off the region, Apostle Wooten began to enlighten us as to how this prophetic act was creating movement in the spirit that would continue to expose the systems of that city that have robbed and held the people under a spirit of lack. According to Proverbs 6:31, we not only decreed 7-fold restoration but declared to the enemy that he would have to give up ALL the substance of his house. Then we had a great time of prayer and prophetic release over everyone there as we broke the spirit of lack and released prosperity and fruitfulness over each individual.
Many who came were visibly moved by the unity the Lord released among us and the connecting and aligning that occurred. We have begun to hear some great reports from the other two gatherings in South Louisiana. Elie Hebert shared about the shift that occurred for their group in Maurice and how after the meeting things began "to pop". We spoke with Carolyn Hebert of Trumpet Voice Ministries who came to the Lake Charles meeting. After lack was broken off their group, she felt to break this spirit over a congregation where she was later ministering. The Lord began to deal with the lack of relationships, as there had been a breach between the generations. They began to repent to one another and God restored the generations in that church. Thank you Lord! (To view the Photo Gallery from the New Orleans meeting, click here.)
Upcoming Ministry in France
We are three days away from our France departure date. We really covet your intercession for this trip as we prayerfully seek the Lord for Louisiana's portion in this assignment. We will be connecting and working with the apostolic leaders the Lord has been aligning us with since 2004. A number of these leaders were members of the team of intercessors who came to Louisiana in April 2004 to travel the state with us for repentance and reconciliation. Our travel dates are September 1st through 15th. This past Sunday we were commissioned by Chuck Pierce and Global Spheres at Glory of Zion in Denton, TX. Chuck prophesied that God was threading two highways for us in France and that He would move us in a new way with favor. Keith Pierce saw a very green vineyard without fruit. He said that in this French connection He would bring us to the mother root, that we would blow upon it, and what had not been fruitful would become fruitful. Covenant Trip to Israel - The Trip is Set!
It is time to secure one of the most important covenant relationships we have as a state. In order to strengthen the Lord's covenant promises with us in Louisiana - we need to intentionally bless His covenant people - Israel.
Would you be interested in traveling with Roger & Charlotte to Israel to re-confirm our covenant? We are joining with Texas and Mississippi to make this strategic trip in 2010. The travel dates are Friday, February 26 through Sunday, March 7th.
The total cost is $2585.00 per person (plus airport taxes and surcharges [currently $430 - to be adjusted at time of ticketing]). This is a tour but also a prayer journey.
This trip is still open, but we need to know of your interest as soon as possible. We would love to see 30+ people from Louisiana jointly blessing and sealing covenant with the nation of Israel in 2010. The future of our nation depends upon our response to the God's covenant nation.

Facebook: We mentioned a few updates ago that we are trying to utilize this social networking website. We now have a Louisiana Apostolic Prayer Network Group on Facebook. If you're on Facebook, please join the group. We have found it to be a helpful tool for connecting and communicating messages quickly to a large number of people. If you're not on Facebook, would like to be, but don't know how to set it up, find someone under the age of 30 to do it for you. This is a primary communication highway for this age group. If we're going to connect with this generation, we may need to incorporate some of their methods of communication. This will not replace our LAPN Updates, but we are giving it a try to see how effective it is for communication and if it might be helpful in connecting more prayer warriors in Louisiana.

Texting: Texting is also an excellent means of getting prayer requests out quickly especially timely prayer alerts. If you would be interested in being included in a Text Message Group that would receive urgent prayer requests from the LAPN, please email us with your cell phone number at pray@prayerfocusministries.com
We are so grateful for the prayer army God is building in Louisiana. "Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong." (1 Corinthians 16:13)
Every Blessing,

Louisiana Apostolic Prayer Network Coordinators
