Global Advance exists to help fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ by empowering national church leaders to evangelize and disciple their own and surrounding nations.

Our Vision is to provide training and resources for one million pastors and church leaders in needy areas of the world. We believe empowering national church leaders is the most strategic, cost effective, and culturally sensitive way to advance the Gospel.

Dr. David Shibley founded Global Advance in 1990. Every year he ministers to pastors and leaders worldwide, championing the cause of Christ and the Great Commission. On the frontlines of the church's advance stand God's unsung heroes: the native pastors, evangelists, and church leaders who willingly sacrifice everything to preach the Gospel and establish churches among the unreached. Often they face incredible opposition.

Global Advance goes where these leaders are - to some of the most impoverished nations on earth - and provides them with the training, resources, and encouragement they so desperately need. These frontline shepherds leave Global Advance conferences with renewed strength. They go back into the battle with a vision in their hearts and tools in their hands.

Prayer Focus Ministries mobilizes and coordinates prayer for Global Advance. They oversee the Global Advance Prayer Force and release prayer bulletins via email on a regular basis to intercessors who are committed to pray regularly for the ministry of Global Advance.
