Roger & Charlotte Merschbrock

Roger and Charlotte Merschbrock,
co-founders and directors of the Natchitoches, LA based Prayer Focus Ministries, have a diverse background in ministry – both individually and as a couple. Married for 43 years, they have two children and several grandchildren.

In October 2000, Roger and Charlotte responded to God's direction and resigned their pastorate of 26 years to found Prayer Focus Ministries, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) ministry. As an apostolic and prophetic team, they help facilitate, network, and mobilize the body of Christ for effective prayer and ministry for the state, the nation, and the nations. They currently serve as State Apostolic Coordinators for the Louisiana Aspostolic Prayer Network (LAPN) and are aligned with Dr. Chuck Pierce of Glory
of Zion International in Denton, TX, a ministry that facilitates the vision of other apostolic ministries worldwide. They serve as primary intercessors and prayer coordinators for Global Advance, an international ministry founded and directed by Dr. and Mrs. David Shibley.

Roger has a degree in business from Mary Hardin-Baylor University and an MRE from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to this, he was a realtor in Austin, Texas from 1962-1975. He has served on numerous boards including Christ for India Ministries, Aglow, the Natchitoches Crisis Pregnancy Center and has been a local leader for coordination of Louisiana Promise Keepers. 

Charlotte has served as president of an Aglow chapter and has co- sponsored a number of unity conferences for women. She counseled for eight years at the Natchitoches Crisis Pregnancy Center, organized citywide prayer for government officials, and co-organized a local pastors wives fellowship. 

In addition to their service with LAPN and Global Advance, Roger and Charlotte speak at covenant marriage seminars, churches, camp meetings, conferences and similar sessions, and maintain active involvements with local and statewide ministerial alliances. They have traveled and ministered nationally and internationally.
